This app really is only good for memorizing words. If you really want to learn to speak and understand the language, try another app or purchase a class - or both!

If u want to learn Spanish for travel, this app is not for u. It has a couple of words but not sentences or u can't words in perspective. Buy for learning Spanish words its ok.

Super straight-forward, convenient, and helpful! You can make your own study set of words you want to learn, and be quizzed on them or get flashcards.

I'm took Spanish for a whole year and this made me pass every single assignment and final I had with a 100%. I here by encourage everyone to download this free app and also the paid version. Thanks to the people who made this app its great!!!

Description page for app states there are 2,400 words in app in 60 categories, I have only seen 155 words in 6 categories. Does not look like description matches app. May work for free, so far does not look worth purchasing.

Great app! Luv the audio quiz part. My weakness is pronouncing the Spanish. Wished it included a quiz set using Spanish audio to compare with written English words. Overall, well above the average app especially 4 the price!

I am currently in Spanish 1 and this is easy, on the go studying. You can spend as much time as you need and it uses several study techniques. I also use Rosetta Stone aside from this but don't always have time to sit down and learn. It's also good to know this is Latin American Spanish and not Spain's Spanish because there are differences. Suggested to beginners!

I love this app. I'm in Spanish 1 at the moment and i am now studying time, days, months, numbers, and alphabet. And with this app. It allows me to customize what I am learning and focus on that. It helps me out a lot. Love it.

Wow! I've been taking a Spanish course for a few months now, and this app is perfect. I only know about half the words but the way this app is designed I'm able to review the vocabulary I already know and easily learn the new ones. It allows you to study words, hear them be pronounced, and then be quizzed on them. I've learned a lot and I've only had this for a few hours. The only improvement I see that can be made is a sequel or additional levels so the more advanced students can use it. 5 stars!

You can probably learn many Spanish words with this app but don't expect a child to spend more than 10 seconds with it. No fun at all.

I like the combination of Flashcards with quizzes but the content is very limited and for vocabulary training only.

This Is BY FAR the BEST Spanish app I've seen. There may not be a translator, but theres everything else. I'd recommend this to ANY Spanish 1 student. Phenomenal.

What happened to the translator

I like this app and it helps me with homework and studying but it doesn't have a thing where you can type a sentence and it translates! Grrrrr 

If you don't mind only being quizzed on certain words. For example I have taken the quiz about 20 times in a row on days, months, and seasons. It asks the same questions in different orders. Never out of all of those quizzes did it ask me about Tues, Wed, Thurs, winter, etc. Very annoying.

This is an awesome and a very useful app. I'm learning Spanish in school and I can use this for help with my homework and practice Spanish.

Great to review my Spanish

For me it's the best way to learn Spanish between the flash cards and the quizzes, I'll be speaking Spanish in no time at all this is my "Rosetta Stone"!!!!!:-)

Audio advance is brilliant. I can now learn words while driving to work. I also bought the paid version since it has a much larger dictionary.

I'm going to delete this app until they bring back the translator. It's no good anymore.

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt it my duty to inform the publishers of this app that they took a wonderful translator tool and morphed it into the worst app I have in my library. Please bring the translator back, no se espanol without it.

This is just isn't very interesting. It's just a bunch of Spanish vocabulary presented in a monotonous way.

This app does what it says it will do but some of the words that they give you are words you will never have to know like syrup for instance.

I wish there is a way to add more words to the application it is very helpful . If There is a pay version of it I will buy it definitely . Thanks a lot .

Best free Spanish app u should learn all these words before u pay for anything

This free app offers several hundred sample words as an inducement to purchase the full version. Unfortunately, the more comprehensive vocabulary list in the full version is flawed because of poor translations. I would be reluctant to use any of their language tools. I've given a comprehensive review, including a half dozen examples of bad translations, for the full version. This could have been a great study tool, if only the developers had hired a bilingual editor instead of relying on computer translations.

Works well and has an iPhone version too. This is a great place to start learning Spanish, and it looks like there are more advanced versions for when you're ready to progress. Best out of all the apps I tried.

This is Spain Spanish therefore it may be confusing for those who speak the Spanish of other countries. I agree that the vocabulary is pretty basic but I suppose it's an ok refresher.
